This elite militia unit from Mexico City fought in the battles of Cerro Gordo, Chapultepec, and Mexico City.

Formed from the sons of wealthy merchants, their uniforms were privatly supplied and were of much better quality than the issue uniforms of the Mexican army. They wore red tail coats with yellow braid and white turnbacks, sky blue trousers with a red strip, white crossbelts and a huge fur busby.

Reviresco’s Grenidier Color Party contains two marching, two drummers, one officer and a Standard Bearer with Flag.   The Mixed Set contains kits for six figures in various combat poses.
